Exciting news, Guelph Rowing Club is currently recruiting for two coach positions beginning mid-May.
Recreation Coach
If Canada Summer Jobs funding is received, the candidate must meet eligibility criteria.
- 35 hours a week, $16.00/hr, includes early morning, late afternoon/early evening and Saturday
- Focus on coaching Learn To Scull, Novice and Recreation programs, will support Junior, U23 and Masters programs
- Act as Covid Captain when required
- Manage equipment and boathouse care
- Support site and boat maintenance
- Support club events
- Ontario Pleasure Craft Operators Card, First-aid and clear Vulnerable Records check required
- Working towards National Coaching Certification
- Excellent communication, customer service, organizational skills required
- Experience working in a team setting and independently required
- Rowing experience required, coaching experience an asset
Competitive Coach
