Dear GRC Members:
Docks in and Boathouse Opening
We are now well into our summer season, and things are once again lively at the boathouse. The Board would like to extend a huge thank you to all those who helped with the GRC Boathouse opening! Thank you to Joanne Ryks for organizing and Bob Richardson and team for putting in and maintaining the docks. We look forward to seeing everyone at the lake!

Land Acknowledgment Committee
GRC is looking to form a short-term committee to create a land acknowledgment that is representative of the Indigenous history and land Guelph Rowing Club resides on. Land acknowledgments are an act of reconciliation that involves making a statement recognizing the history of the Indigenous peoples who called and continue to call the land home, prior to settlers. A land acknowledgment is one way to give honour and remember Indigenous people’s rich Indigenous governance and cultures. It is far more than checking off a to-do, and therefore GRC would like to provide this the time and effort it deserves. For more details, or if you are interested in being involved in the process, please contact Jane McKinnon Wilson (jx4wilson@gmail.com).
Gate Passes
Guelph Rowing Club passes to Guelph Lake Conservation Area are available for pick up at the park entrance. If you have not picked yours up please do so on your next trip to the lake. If you provide the gate attendant with your name they will provide you with your card pass for this year.
