2020
August 22nd to 30th: Canadian Sculling Marathon
Traditionally, the CSM offers a choice of two touring distances, the full marathon (42 km) and the half marathon (21 km). The scenery along both routes is as spectacular as it is varied: views of the Capital’s most famous landmarks, shoreline recreational pathways, protected wetlands and forested areas.
For 2020 the Ottawa New Edinburgh Club & Ontario Adventure Rowing would like to invite you on a virtual row along one of Canada’s great rivers. Join us on a 1,271 KM journey down the Ottawa River from its source high in the Laurentian Mountains to its ultimate end where it empties into the Mighty Saint Lawrence.
This year, participants will be rowing at their own club, and submitting their on-water rowing kilometres to the 2020 CSM via the “Submit Progress” form directly below. At the end of each day between Aug 22nd and 30th, we will update each participant’s progress on the website under “Results & Awards”.
Together our goal for 2020 is a collective distance of 1,271 KM of on water rowing.
