Guelph Rowing Club 2019 Rowing Program Fees

Refunds The GRC policy is that there will be no refunds of program fees. Under special circumstances, a program fee may be partially refunded. This is based on provision of timely, officially documented medical reasons, which cannot have pre-existed at the time of joining GRC. This decision is solely at the discretion of the Board, and subject to deduction of fees committed on behalf of the registrant.

IMPORTANT: Please read this page to the bottom, to become aware of the Club’s Registration Process, Private Shell Storage  Policy, fee breakdown, volunteer hours, and membership/refund policies. Please note that fees showing the HST separately are provided on the RCA program registration website. HST is included in these fees below.

Fees include membership in Rowing Canada ($20) and Row Ontario ($25)

High School Rowing-on-water April 1 – June 6 $410 Additional fees are ‘pay as you go’ for regattas and events.
Masters Competitive Rowing April 1 – October 31 $545 Additional fees are ‘pay as you go’ for regattas and events.
Recreational Rowing May 16 – October 15 $545 If any, additional fees are ‘pay as you go’ for regattas and events.
Recreational – Half Season May 16 – July 20, 2014 or July 18 – October 15 $315 If any, additional fees are ‘pay as you go’ for regattas and events.
Experienced Occasional Rower 10 rows during the season $195 Does not include park pass.
Adult Learn-To-Row June 6 – July 9 $315  
Adult Novice July 10 – October 16 $270 For Learn to Row Grads. If any, additional fees are ‘pay as you go’ for regattas and events.
Coach   No Fee Please register through step 1 only
Volunteer   No Fee Please register through step 1 only
Fall High School Learn to Row September 9 – September 20 $190 Register by September 8
Try Rowing Sampler 1 day event in May No Fee No experience necessary. Partnered with the 2Rivers Festival.
Private Lessons Available throughout summer 50$/hour On request basis.

Private Boat Storage Fees

Single – $205
Double – $255 

The GRC allows boat storage for GRC member rowers only. Program fees must be paid in full, in addition to the boat storage fee, at the time of registration. Boat storage fees cannot be paid for part of a year and are non- refundable under any circumstances. The GRC Private Shell Storage Policy should be read by all private boat owners wishing to arrange for paid storage at GRC: GRC Private Shell Storage Policy. When registering and paying program fees, the Private Shell Storage Acknowledgment must be signed, see Forms.

Guelph Rowing Club is a community organization run entirely by volunteers. All members of the GRC are expected to contribute 20 hours of volunteer time. Volunteer time is recorded in the Volunteer Record Book at the GRC boathouse.  Visit the Volunteering page to learn more about this important club program.
